"All people should have the right to work and to choose what work they will do.  All working people should be paid a living wage.  People should be paid equally for the same job.  All people should have the right to join a union.

If the government tells you that you must be a farmer, should you have the right to challenge the government?

Should an employer have the right to pay women more than men, for the same job?  Does a man ever have a right to receive more pay than a woman when they are doing the same job?  Should a person's wage be decided by his or her race?

Can you think of any reason why the workers in a factory should be prevented from joining a trade union?  Should the government have the right to outlaw a union?"
